Last week, I photographed Rebecca and Adam’s Charleston engagement session and I seriously cannot get over how stinking adorable these two are! Between this gorgeous southern light and their adorable-ness, I literally was squealing with excitement during their session. We did their entire Charleston engagement session at a pretty random place in the woods. But set with this beautiful light, it became a seriously magical background. When looking for a spot for your portraits, it really doesn’t always have to be something particularly ‘special’. It’s amazing how seemingly ‘boring’ or even ‘ugly’ spots can turn into something SO gorgeous. That’s the magic of your photographers’ powers! It’s so important to give them your full trust, and part of what you’re hiring them for. Because they will know what will photograph like magic, and what won’t.
