This Cape May Wedding at Abbie Holmes Estate was an absolute favorite of mine. There are some people in life that you feel like your paths were just meant to cross. I can say that getting to work this wedding for Gen + Nick felt just that way. Not only were they incredibly kind, fun and accommodating, their love story is truly something beautiful. Leading up to their wedding day, they’ve already been together for ten years. Seeing how happy and excited they both were to officially become husband and wife was truly touching. Their laughter was contagious, their kindness refreshing and I am excited for them to start this new journey in their lives together! Cape May Wedding at Abbie Holmes Estate

As always, I started the day with the wedding day details. I absolutely adored the soft color palette that Gen chose. Sage and whites are some of my favorites to photograph, needless to say I’m obsessed!

Then I headed outside with the girls to do some portraits before the wedding ceremony. Gen & Nick chose not to do a first look, so we scheduled their day to ensure we got everything they were envisioning, while still allowing them to live their day the way they’ve always dreamed!

While I was with the girls, Gen headed out with the guys!

I love that the surrounding area for Gen & Nick’s ceremony hosted a little area for guests to grab refreshments! So thoughtful 🙂

The ceremony site at Abbie Holmes Estate is absolutely breathtaking, add Gen’s gorgeous touches to the site and you pretty much got perfection!

Just have to say their vows were THE cutest! I LOVE when couples read their own vows. Seriously, I’ll be tearing up with you- but I promise I won’t miss a beat!

Gen is a phenomenal home decorator- so I KNEW that her reception was going to be GORGEOUS! And it was!

OK this was the sweetest moment right here with Gen and her father in law, definitely choked me up.

Gen + Nick, your day was full of so much joy and it was an absolute pleasure to witness this day! Anyone who spends any time around you can see why you are both so loved! I wish you all the greatest things in life as you move forward together in the start of a beautiful new journey. Congratulations again!
