I recently had the pleasure of capturing the most beautiful wedding with Sara and Stuart in the hills of Virginia. The setting was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views in every direction at The Estate at River Run located just outside of Richmond, Virginia in Maidens.

Sara and Stuart were just the absolute best to work with! Throughout the day, we couldn’t help but tear up with emotion and laugh with joy as we witnessed their story unfold. The photographs from their day reflect the romance, soft sentiment and just plain fun of their day.

We started the day with details, prep and then into the first look. We’ve had so many couples this year read private vows at their first look moments and y’all, I am HERE for it! Sara + Stuart’s were soooo sweet! Of course I had the tear flow and laughs along with them. What particularly made a special moment during the first look was the gift that Sara shared with Stuart. Most bride & groom gifts are given separately in their respective suites, but this gift was given immediately following their first look and it was one of the top moments I’ve witnessed as a wedding photographer. As a photographer, it is always an honor to to witness and capture such beautiful moments of love and joy. Sara and Stuart’s wedding was a true reflection of their love for each other, and their genuine personalities just shine through every photograph.

I am so beyond grateful for the opportunity to document this special day and create lasting memories for Sara and Stuart to cherish for a lifetime. I am constantly reminded of why I love what I do, and this day was no exception.
